Abstract:
Sterically hindered cyclic amines react with hydroxyl radicals in the presence of oxygen to yield stable nitroxide radicals which can be detected by EPR. This reaction provides a nonconventional spin-trapping tool for detection of hydroxyl radicals. © 1987.
