Abstract:
The value of high gossypol characters of cotton strains, in comparison with the glandless strain Acala 63-74 and the commercial cv. Acala SJ2, in suppressing Spodoptera littoralis (Boisd.) and Earias insulana (Boisd.) populations, was demonstrated in unsprayed fields in two regions of Israel. The same held true for E. insulana in sprayed plots. © 1980 Springer Science + Business Media B.V.
