Abstract:
Identifying what afflicts the crop is the primary aim of plant clinics and may form the nucleus for further crop protection work on a local basis, such as supplying information on pest and disease occurrence and spread; pinpointing field and storage problems for research; operation of regulatory agencies; and storage of records on pests and pathogens. All these aim to help extension staff formulate control practices, and governments to devise realistic crop production policies. -from Authors
