Abstract: 

(Z,Z)-6,9-cis-3S,4R-Epoxynonadecadiene has been identified as the major sex pheromone component of the Geometrid Boarmia selenaria. A short and efficient synthesis of the chiral methylene-interrupted diene-epoxide has been developed for both enantiomers. © 1990.
