Abstract:
The importance of soilborne pathogens is discussed with regard to their buildup, factors leading to severity of disease, and control measures. The role of monoculture, stress conditions and pathogen survival is considered. Among control measures, cultivar tolerance and soil fumigation are analyzed. © 1982 Springer Science + Business Media B.V.
