Abstract:
Testicular development and spermatogenesis were studied in Boarmia selenaria Schiff. Testicular size increased rapidly during larval life and diminished continually thereafter. There was a close relationship between the age of the insect and the progress of spermatogenesis. The chromosome number was found to be n = 31. The sex chromatin body was observed only in female tissues. © 1985 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
