(E,Z,Z)-1-Acetoxy-2-hydroxy-4-oxo-heneicosa-5,12,15-triene was isolated from avocado, Persea americana Mill., idioblast cells. It inhibited spore germination of the fungal pathogen Colletotrichum gloeosporioides.
