Abstract:
The isobutane chemical ionization mass spectra of aldicarb [2-methyl-2-(methylthio)propionaldehyde O-(methylcarbamoyl)oxime] and of its metabolites aldicarb sulfoxide and aldicarb sulfone show strong (M + H)+ signals and also large peaks due to the corresponding ions of the protonated oxime and nitrile moieties. These results are of distinct diagnostic and analytical value. © 1982 American Chemical Society.
