Abstract:
A technique to evaluate dosage-pathogen response to metham in soil columns is described. Its usefulness in predicting kill of pathogens that do not produce large propagules was evaluated. A low dosage of 190/xg/mLof the biocide in drench water was found to be highly effective in destroying propagules of the four fungi examined, Rhizoctonia solani, Microdochium bolleyi, Gaeumannomyces graminis var. tritici, and Cochliobolus sativus. © 1986 Taylor & Francis Group, LLC.
