Abstract:
The olive Parlatoria scale, Parlatoria oleae (Colvée) and the apple oyster-shell scale Lepidosaphes ulmi (L.) (Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Diaspididae) are recorded for the first time infesting the oil-rose, Rosa damascena, at Isparta, Turkey. These armoured scale insects are considered as potential pests to the cultivation of the oil-rose. © Benaki Phytopathological Institute.
