Abstract:
The objective of the study was to examine the production functions of industrial tomatoes (Lycopersicon esculentum cv. M-82) with saline and nonsaline water and to determine their water and leaching requirements. The experiment was conducted in small field plots on a sandy loam soil. Water was applied by drip irrigation at three different salinity levels (ECi) in amounts ranging from about 30 to 120% of the optimum with nonsaline water. © 1986 Springer-Verlag.
