The nutrient enabled National Agricultural Pesticide Risk Analysis (NAPRA) WWW Decision Support System (http://danpatch.ecn.purdue.edu/~napra) was enhanced by enabling simulation of multiple pesticide applications and crop rotations. The enhanced NAPRA WWW system was run for crop land with eight pesticides for corn and two pesticides for soybeans in corn-soybean-wheat rotations and county-specific fertilizer and manure data, and it was run for pasture with manure from cows in the White River basin, Indiana. The L-THIA/NPS GIS system was run for urban and forest areas in the White River basin. The predicted nutrients and pesticides concentration values with and without QUAL2E modeling were compared with EPA nutrient data and USGS pesticide data. The comparison indicates the NAPRA WWW system has the potential to identify vulnerable areas to pesticide and nutrient losses.
