Abstract:

Magnetic resonance imaging was used to study changes in the morphology and water status of intact bulbs of tulip cv. Apeldoorn kept at 4° or 20°C for 4 months. Special attention was given to determining the relaxation times and diffusion parameters in different tissue types.
