Abstract:
The Solanum mealybug, Phenacoccus solani Ferris (Hemiptera: Coccoidea: Pseudococcidae), is newly recorded from Israel, where it was found on the Coastal Plain and in the Arava Valley, on plants belonging to the families Amaryllidaceae, Compositae and Solanaceae.
