Abstract:
Optically pure (—)‐linalyl acetate was isolated from the essential oils of the plants clary sage, Salvia dominica L., lavender and lavandin belonging to the Labiatae family. 1H‐NMR of synthetic racemic and natural (—)‐linalyl acetate in the presence of various molar ratios of a chiral lanthanide shift reagent Eu(hfc)3 was performed.
