Abstract:
A model for describing temporal progress of plant diseases is presented. The model (termed a ‘mixed’ model) coincides in two special cases with the logistic and the monomolecular models introduced by Vanderplank. The mixed model is implemented using some data available on the spread of zucchini yellow mosaic virus (ZYMV) from a field experiment in Israel. © 1990, Springer Science + Business Media B.V..
