Abstract:
Transection at the level of the first cervical vertebra causes a marked loosening of feather-skin connection, although less than that found in the living animal. This effect may be seen even when transection is carried out 2.5 min after bleeding. Cuts performed in other levels had little or no effect. © 1977, Taylor & Francis Group, LLC. All rights reserved.
