Abstract:
An experiment was conducted during 2005 at Utkal university, Bhubaneshwar to study the nitrogen-fixing ability of blue-green algne in rice (Oryza sativa L.) fields. The study shows that fly ash can be used for growth and development of blue-green algae which can be commercially exploited under controlled conditions.
