Abstract:
Abstract. The generic diagnosis of Kilifia De Lotto, a genus of soft‐scale insects, is presented together with a key and description of the five species included: acuminata (Signoret), americana sp.n., deltoides De Lotto, diversipes (Cockerell), and sinensis sp.n. A neotype is suggested for K.acuminata, and a lectotype designated for K.diversipes. Inter‐ and intraspecific variations in several morphological characters are tabulated.
