Abstract:
Uses the A value methodology, employing a non nodulating isoline as control crop in an Argiudoll of the Southeast of the Buenos Aires Province (Argentina). Nitrogen derived from the atmosphere accounted for ca. 40% of total plant nitrogen while fixed nitrogen was ca. 46-51 kg N ha-1 for two soybean cultivars. Grain nitrogen derived from the soil ranged between 53 and 62 kg ha-1, meanwhile straw incorporated ca. 8-10 kg N ha-1 from the atmosphere. Thus, a negative balance of 44-51 kg N ha-1 was estimated for the soil-plant system. -from English summary
