Abstract:

Hepatic damage, caused by a variety of etiologies: infectious, toxic, inflammatory, and
hemodynamic may lead to a vicious cycle of hepatocyte injury. The end result may be
progression to fulminant hepatic failure when develops rapidly or to liver cirrhosis in
conditions associated with chronic insult. Most types of acute or chronic liver injuries are
associated with the development of non-specific hepatic inflammation, which initiates
