Abstract:

The particles of apple chlorotic leafspot virus (CLSV) banded in isopycnic Cs2SO4 gradients at ϱ − 1.27 g/cc and contained 5.2% nucleic acid. A single nucleic acid species of MW 2.3 × 106 was isolated from the virus. The molecular weight and structure of CLSV particles are discussed.
