The vines are vigorous and adapted to spur pruning. The bunches are long, averaging 600 g in weight. Berries are vivid red, average 7.0 g in weight and show little cracking compared with Cardinal. Ripening at Bet Dagan is from 1 to 14 July. Yields of 24-29 Mt/ha have been obtained. The fruit stores well, but berries, especially on ungrafted vines, are prone to drop.
