The steam-distilled essential oils from various parts of Foeniculum vulgare Mill. var. dulce were examined. Oleoresins were obtained by supercritical carbon dioxide, petroleum ether, and dichloromethane extractions of ripe and unripe umbels, and their volatile components were analyzed.
